There He Goes Again

McCain has this really bad habit of saying hyperbolic, obviously wrong things when pressed, like the time he said he had never supported an earmark.

Today's example: Palin "probably knows more about energy than anybody in the United States of America."  In fact, she doesn't even know more about petroleum, never mind other energy sources, than any number of people who have spent their lives studying it. People like Daniel Yergin, to just pull a name out of the air.

I saw this clip too -- why do we have to go to a local Maine anchor to get (finally) a decent line of questioning of a Presidential candidate.

And yes, he said several wildly exaggerated or untrue things there, and seemed to want to reach through the camera and rip off the anchor's head.

Hey!! I'm from Maine. I've been in the WCSH studios. (CSH=Congress Square Hotel, which isn't there anymore, although Congress Street is still the main drag.)

We know what we are talking about.

And it McCain had seriously wanted to reach across to Clinton voters, he would have picked Snowe.

Sorry, inappropriate snark on my part. I have deep Maine roots, own a place in K-port, and have spent every July there since the late 80s. Heck, I'm even litigating the Hannaford data breach case before Judge Hornby.

I agree with you on Mainers.

Did you catch his misfires on The View?

I actually sent a note to The View with a link to the Carpetbagger Report, for the next time McCain comes on and says he hasn't changed any positions.

And yes, that's another "There he goes again" moment.
